Transmitting a bill authorizing the Managing Director, or her designee, to enter into an agreement on behalf of The City of Philadelphia with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through its Department of Public Welfare, for the City to administer a managed care program under the name HealthChoices Behavioral Health under which behavioral mental health services will be provided to Philadelphia residents who are eligible for Medical Assistance; all under certain terms and conditions, accompanied by an explanatory letter from Estelle B. Richman, Managing Director.
