Mourning the death and honoring the memory of the life of Police Officer Walter J. Dewitt III, a Philadelphia Police Officer for 33 years who passed away June 5, 2015 while undergoing surgery at Hahneman University Hospital to repair a fractured shoulder he suffered in an accident in a patrol car in 1995 and further injured in an accident at the Philadelphia Police Academy firing range in October 2014.
