THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
      SECTION 1.      The Commissioner of Public Property on behalf of the City of Philadelphia is hereby authorized to execute and deliver a deed conveying fee simple title to  parcels of land with any improvements thereon, located at located at 917 South 18th Street; 1023 South 18th Street; 1030 South Bouvier Street; 1633 Carpenter Street; 1635 Carpenter Street; 1542 Christian Street; 1833 Christian Street; 1834 Christian Street and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, for fair market value.
 
      SECTION 2.      The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all  instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.
 
      SECTION 3.  Net proceeds from the sale of this property shall be deposited in the City's General Fund.
 
 
 
Exhibit A
917 South 18th Street:
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN  lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.
 
SITUATE on the East side of 18th Street at the distance of 113 feet 8 inches Northward from the North side of Carpenter Street in the 30th (formerly part of the 26th) Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said 18th Street 16 feet and extending of that breadth in length or depth Eastward along the North side of Montrose Street 50 feet including on the Easternmost end thereof the whole of a certain 3 feet wide alley which leads Northward from the said Carpenter Street to the said Montrose Street.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use, right, liberty and privilege of the said alleys as and for passageways and water courses at all times hereafter forever.

1023 S. 18th Street:
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the three story brick messuage or tenement thereon erected.
 
SITUATE on the East side of 18th Street at the distance of 178 feet Southward from the South side of Carpenter Street in the 30th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said 18th Street 16 feet and extending in length or depth of that width Eastward 60 feet.
 
BEING NO. 1023 South 18th Street.
 
 
1030 South Bouvier Street:
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected,  SITUATE on the West side of Bouvier (late Lingo) Street at the distance of 242 feet Southward from the South side of Carpenter Street in the 30th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Bouvier Street 16 feet (including on the North line thereof ½ of a 2 feet wide alley) and extending of that width in length or depth Westward between lines parallel with the said Carpenter Street 42 feet.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use, right , liberty and privilege of the aforesaid alley as and for passageway and watercourse at all times hereafter, forever.
 
1030 South Bouvier Street.
 
 
1633 Carpenter Street:

BEGINNING at a point on the Northeast side of Carpenter Street (50 feet wide) at the distance of 260 feet 4 inches Northwestward from the Northwest side of 16th Street, (50 feet wide).
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Carpenter Street 16 feet 6 inches and extending of that width in length or depth Northeastwardly between lines parallel with 17th Street 80 feet.

SITUATE on the North side of Christian Street at the distance of 114 feet Eastward from the East side of 19th Street in the 30th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Christian Street 16 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Northwardly 70 feet including on the rear end thereof a 3 feet wide alley.
 
BEING NO. 1833 Christian Street.
 
 
1834 Christian Street:
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.
 
SITUATE on the South side of Christian Street, at the distance of eighty-six feet Eastward from the East side of Nineteenth Street, in the Thirtieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Christian Street, seventeen feet, and extending in length or depth Southward of that width between lines parallel with the said Nineteenth Street, seventy-seven feet, to a certain three feet wide alley, communicating with a certain other three feet wide alley, which extends Southward into Montrose Street.
