Amending Section 12-919 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “On-Street Parking of Boats, Motor Homes, Truck Campers and Vending Carts,” by providing for further regulation of semitrailer and truck tractor parking, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 12-919 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§ 12-919. On-Street Parking of Boats, Motor Homes, Truck Campers, Semitrailers, Truck Tractors, and Vending Carts.

(2) Prohibited Conduct.
* * *
(b) No person shall park a semitrailer or truck tractor on [a single block of any residential street.] a single block of any residential street or on any public street that has been determined by regulation of the Department of Streets to be a location with respect to which the safe and efficient use of the right-of-way by pedestrians or traffic would be impaired by such parking.
[(c) No person shall park a semitrailer or truck tractor on any public street in the 6th Council District that has been determined by regulation of the Department of Streets to be a location with respect to which the safe and efficient use of the right-of-way by pedestrians or traffic would be impaired by such parking.]
[(d) No person shall park a semitrailer or truck tractor on any public street in the 10th Council District that has been determined by regulation of the Department of Streets to be a location with respect to which the safe and efficient use of the right-of-way by pedestrians or traffic would be impaired by such parking.]
[(e) No person shall park a semitrailer or truck tractor on any public street in the 9th Council District that has been determined by regulation of the Department of Streets to be a location with respect to which the safe and efficient use of the right-of-way by pedestrians or traffic would be impaired by such parking.]
