      WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "Model Cities"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on December 15, 1969, as amended; and
      WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a disposition supplement providing, inter alia, for development controls and regulations imposed upon the redeveloper; and
      WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of Model Cities, identified by house numbers and street addresses as 2212 North Eleventh street, 2247 North Twelfth street, 2226 North Camac street, 2242 North Camac street, 2250 North Camac street, 2317 North Camac street, 1200 West Dauphin street, 1215 West Dauphin street, 1220 West Dauphin street, 1227 West Dauphin street, 2336 North Fawn street, 1108 West Nevada street, 1213 West Susquehanna avenue, 1219 West Susquehanna avenue, 1221 West Susquehanna avenue and 1229 West Susquehanna avenue (hereinafter “Properties”).  The area of the Properties are generally described and bounded as follows:
2212 North Eleventh street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Eleventh street at the distance of ninety-three feet six inches northward from the north side of Susquehanna avenue in the Twenty-eighth Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Containing in front or breadth on the said Eleventh street fifteen feet six inches, and extending of that width in depth westward along the south line of a certain four feet wide alley laid out at right angles to said Eleventh street seventy feet to a three feet wide alley.              
2247 North Twelfth street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the east side of Twelfth street at the distance of sixty-six feet nine inches southward from the south side of Dauphin street in the Twentieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth on the said Twelfth street, sixteen feet, and extending of that width in length or depth eastward at right angles to said Twelfth street, ninety feet.
2226 North Camac street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Camac street at the distance of two hundred ten feet eleven inches northward from the north side of Susquehanna avenue in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Thence extending west on a line at right angles to Camac street eighty-two feet to the middle of a twelve feet wide alley leading north from Susquehanna avenue to Dauphin street; Thence north sixteen feet one inch to a pont; Thence south seventy-eight degrees thirty-two minutes east eighty-two feet to the west side of Camac street; Thence south along the same fifteen feet eleven and one-half inches to the point and place of beginning.
2242 North Camac street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Camac street at the distance of one hundred seventy-six feet and three inches southward from the south side of Dauphin street; Containing in front or breadth on the said Camac street fifteen feet and nine inches and extending of that width in length or depth westward between lines parallel with the said Dauphin street seventy-six feet.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Camac street at the distance of one hundred and thirteen feet and three inches southward from the south side of Dauphin street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth on the said Camac street fifteen feet and nine inches and extending of that width in length or depth westward between lines parallel with said Dauphin street seventy-six feet to twelve feet wide alley or street extending from Susquehanna avenue to said Dauphin street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the east side of Camac street at the distance of one hundred twelve feet northward from the north side of Dauphin street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth on the said Camac street fourteen feet and extending of that width in length or depth eastward forty-eight feet to a certain three feet wide alley leading north and south and communicating with another three feet wide alley leading into and from said Camac street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate at the southwest corner of Twelfth street and Dauphin street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia, beginning at a point on the southwest corner of Twelfth and Dauphin streets;  Thence extending west along the south side of Dauphin street twenty-seven feet to a point;  Thence extending south on a line parallel with said Twelfth street fifty-three feet, more or less to the center line of Turners lane vacated;  Thence extending northeast along Turners lane vacated to a point on the west side of said Twelfth street twenty-nine feet nine inches, southwest from the south side of said Dauphin street;  Thence extending north along the said west side of said Twelfth street to the south side of said Dauphin street the point and place of beginning.
1215 West Dauphin street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the intersection of the north side of Dauphin street and the west side of Fawn street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth along the north side of Dauphin street seventeen feet and extending of that width in length or depth along the west side of Fawn street northward sixty-seven feet to a three feet wide alley extending east and west from said Fawn street to Dean street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the south side of Dauphin street at the distance of two hundred eighteen feet eastward from the east side of Thirteenth street (being the southeast corner of Camac and Dauphin streets) in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Containing in front or breadth on the said Dauphin street sixteen feet and extending of that width in length or depth southward between parallel lines at right angles to the said Dauphin street sixty-six feet including the bed of a three feet wide alley.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the corner formed by the intersection of the north side of Dauphin street with the west side of Camac street (formerly Dean) in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth on the said Dauphin street sixteen feet six inches and extending of that width in length or depth northward between parallel lines with Thirteenth street the east line thereof along the said west side of Camac street seventy feet.
2336 North Fawn street.  
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the west side of Fawn street at the distance of three hundred and twenty-two feet northward from the north side of Dauphin street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia;  Containing in front or breadth on the said Fawn street fourteen feet and extending westward of that width in length or depth between lines parallel with the said Dauphin street forty- seven feet to a three feet wide alley extending north and south and communicating with two other three feet alleys extending east into the said Fawn street and west into Camac street respectively.
1108 West Nevada street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate on the south side of Nevada street at the distance of sixty feet westward from the west side of Eleventh street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Thence south eleven degrees nine minutes west thirty-four feet six inches to a point;  Thence extending westward fourteen feet ten and one-half inches to a point; Thence extending north ten degrees fifty-six minutes east partly through the center of a certain two feet wide alley leading into and from said Nevada street thirty-four feet six inches to the south side of the said Nevada street; Thence extending eastward along the same fifteen feet to first mentioned point and place of beginning.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situate at the intersection of the north side of West Susquehanna avenue and the east side of North Camac street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Containing in front and breadth on the said West Susquehanna avenue thirty-two feet and eight inches and extending of that width in length or depth northward at right angles to said West Susquehanna avenue seventy-six feet to a four feet alley extending west into the said North Camac street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground beginning at a point on the north side of Susquehanna avenue at the distance of forty-five feet five and one-half inches westward from the west side of Camac street in the Thirty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Thence extending north eleven degrees twenty-one minutes east fifty-two feet to a point; Thence extending north ten degrees fifty-one minutes east twenty-four feet to the south side of a certain four feet wide alley;  Thence extending west along the same fourteen feet ten and one-half inches to a point; Thence extending south eleven degrees twenty-one minutes west fifty feet to a point; Thence extending south eleven minutes west twenty-six feet to a point on the north side of Susquehanna avenue; Thence extending eastwardly along the same fifteen feet to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
      The said redevelopment contract is in substantial conformity with the amended urban renewal plan and the amended redevelopment proposal approved by Council; and
      WHEREAS, Philadelphia Housing Authority desires to enter into the said redevelopment contract for the Properties.
      RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement submitted by the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") for the redevelopment of that portion of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area, as hereinabove more particularly described, is hereby approved.  City Council authorizes the Redevelopment Authority to proceed with minor changes in substantial conformity with the hereby approved redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.  The Redevelopment Authority is authorized to execute the hereby approved redevelopment contract with Philadelphia Housing Authority (hereinafter "Redeveloper").  The Redevelopment Authority and the Redeveloper are authorized to take such action in substantial conformity to the redevelopment contract as may be necessary to carry it out.
      RESOLVED, The Redevelopment Authority and the Redeveloper are authorized to prepare or cause to be prepared for introduction into Council such ordinances or resolutions as may be necessary for changes in zoning, streets, alleys, public ways, street patterns, location and relocation of public utilities, and related items which are required in order to facilitate and effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement hereby approved.  Accordingly, the Council hereby declares that it will cooperate in helping to carry out the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement and requests the various officials, departments, boards and agencies of the City having administrative responsibilities in the premises likewise to cooperate to such end and to exercise their respective functions and powers in a manner consistent with the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.
      RESOLVED, That the Redevelopment Authority is authorized to make such modifications to the metes and bounds descriptions of the properties (hereinafter “Properties”) identified above by street address which would more fully or accurately describe the metes and bounds of such Properties in accordance with surveys or related recorded documents.
