Honoring and recognizing Trust Factor Organization for its transformative work in empowering the youth of Philadelphia through carpentry training, life skills development, and emotional wellness support, as part of the Children & Youth Spotlight, which celebrates community based organizations that are shaping brighter futures for young people across the City.

WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Philadelphia recognizes that the strength of our City lies in the empowerment, education, and well-being of its young people. Investing in youth means investing in safer neighborhoods, stronger families, and a more equitable future for all; and
WHEREAS, Trust Factor Organization stands as a beacon of hope and transformation, dedicated to improving the mental health and overall well-being of youth and young adults in Philadelphia through counseling, education, and advocacy; and
WHEREAS, Its flagship Build-A-Man program addresses critical labor shortages in the skilled trades by connecting young people to meaningful vocational pathways. Operating three cohorts annually, the program provides participants with industry recognized certifications, including OSHA10 and scaffold safety training, thereby preparing them for immediate employment opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Trust Factor Organization offers impactful programs such as Breakfast with the Brothers, after school enrichment, and the Beacon Program, each designed to provide mentorship, trades exposure, creative outlets, and support services to school aged youth and young adults facing significant life challenges across Philadelphia; and
WHEREAS, Trust Factor Organization’s mission to rebuild generations within communities is grounded in healing, education, and protection, empowering individuals and families to overcome adversity, break cycles of trauma and poverty, and lay the foundation for sustainable success; and
WHEREAS, Co-Founders Zachery Frazier, a union carpenter and mentor, and Jessica Hill, a seasoned social services and therapeutic professional, have combined their respective expertise and lived experience to lead Trust Factor’s programming, guiding young people from uncertainty to strength through skill building, emotional support, and intentional purpose; and
WHEREAS, It is vital to uplift and recognize organizations like Trust Factor, whose work strengthens the social fabric of our city by providing young people with tangible skills, mentorship, and pathways to self-sufficiency helping to create safer, more resilient communities and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA hereby honors and recognizes Trust Factor Organization for its transformative work in empowering the youth of Philadelphia through carpentry training, life skills development, and emotional wellness support.
FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this Resolution be presented to Zachery Frazier and Jessica Hill in recognition of their outstanding mentorship, dedication to strengthening the community, and commitment to providing opportunities for youth to succeed.
