Leithgow Street, 821 Leland Street, 1411 Marlborough Street, 1928 Parrish Street, and 2014 Parrish Street, for fair market value, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
      SECTION 1.      The Commissioner of Public Property on behalf of the City of Philadelphia is hereby authorized to execute and deliver deeds conveying fee simple title to parcels of land with any improvements thereon, located at 1202 N. 24th Street, 1607 Brown Street, 1643 Francis Street, 1423 N. Front Street, 1545 N. Front Street, 860 N. Leithgow Street, 862 N. Leithgow Street, 864 N. Leithgow Street, 866 N. Leithgow Street, 821 Leland Street, 1928 Parrish Street, and 2014 Parrish Street, and as more particularly described in Exhibit “A,” upon the best terms obtainable after appropriate public advertising and the receipt of competitive bids, and at fair market value.
 
      SECTION 2.      The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all  instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.
 
 
 
 
EXHIBIT "A"
 
1202 N. 24th Street
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.  SITUATE and DESCRIBED according to a Survey thereof made on the 22nd day of November A.D. 1910, by William K. Carlile, Surveyor and Regulator of the 7th District in the 29th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
BEGINNING at a point on the West side of 24th street, at the distance of 151 feet Southward from the South side of Thompson Street;  thence extending South along the said 24th Street, 16 feet to a point; thence South 88 degrees, 40 minutes, 8 seconds West, 41 feet, 5-1/2 inches to a point; thence South 84 degrees, 6 minutes, 50 seconds West, 27 feet, 9-5/8 inches to the East side of a 4 feet wide alley thence North along said alley 33 feet, 3-1/4 inches to a point; thence East at right angles to the said 24th Street, 67 feet to the West side of 24th Street and the place of beginning.
 
BEING No. 1202 North 24th Street.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use, right, liberty and privilege of the aforesaid 4 feet wide alley in common with the owners, tenants and occupiers of the other lots of ground bounding thereon.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the messuage or tenement thereon erected.
 
SITUATE on the North side of Brown Street at the distance of 134 feet Westward from the West side of 16th Street in the 15th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, aforesaid.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Brown Street 18 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Northward between parallel lines at right angles with said Brown Street 90 feet to a certain 20 feet wide street extending from said 16th Street to 17th Street.
 
BOUNDED Northward by said 20 feet wide street, Eastward and Westward by ground now or late of Nathan Stretch and Southward by Brown Street, aforesaid.

SITUATE on the Northeasterly side of Leland Street (Formerly Geary) at the distance of Seventy feet Northwesterly from the Northwesterly side of Francis Street in the Fifteenth Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Leland Street Fifteen feet and extending in length or depth Northeasterly of that width at right angles with the said Leland Street Fifty-seven feet to a Three feet wide alley which leads Southeastwardly into another Three feet wide alley which leads Southwestward into Leland Street.
 
BEING known as No. 821 Leland Street.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use, right, liberty and privilege of both of said three feet wide alleys as and for passageways and watercourses at all times hereafter forever.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.
 
SITUATE on the South side of Parrish Street at the distance of 97 feet, 10 inches Eastward from the East side of 20th Street in the 15th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.
 
CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said Parrish Street 16 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Southeast between lines parallel with said 20th Street 60 feet.
 
BOUNDED Northward by the said Parrish Street, Eastward and Westward by ground granted and intended to have been granted to William C. Jones and Southward by a certain 3 feet wide alley which extends Eastward into West (now Uber) Street.
 
BEING No. 1928 Parrish Street.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use and privilege of the said 3 feet wide alley as and for a passageway and watercourse at all times hereafter, forever.
 
 
2014 Parrish Street
 
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.
 
SITUATE in the 15th Ward of the City of Philadelphia and descried as follows, to wit:
 
BEGINNING at the corner formed by the intersection of the South side of Parrish Street with the East side of Capitol Street; thence extending Southward along the East side of Capitol Street 64 feet, ¼ of an inch to the North side of a certain 4 feet wide alley which extends Westward into the said Capitol Street; thence extending Eastward along the North side of the above described 4 feet wide alley and on a line at right angles to the said Capitol Street 15 feet, 5-3/8 inches to a point;  thence extending Northward on a line at right angles to the said Parrish Street and along ground now or late of Charles Broadnix 63 feet, 8-3/8 inches to the said South side of Parrish Street; thence extending Westward along the South side of Parrish Street 16 feet, 7-5/8 inches to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
 
TOGETHER with the free and common use, right liberty and privilege of the above mentioned alleys as and for watercourses and passageways at all times hereafter, forever.
