WHEREAS, Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine, founded in 1995, emerged from Ron’s childhood fascination with Jamaican comfort food and his unwavering passion for cooking. Inspired by his love for authentic Jamaican cuisine and the joy of sharing his culinary creations with loved ones, Ron took a bold leap of faith to open his own restaurant, establishing Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine as a cherished destination for flavorful and family-friendly Jamaican dishes; and
WHEREAS, With nearly four decades of culinary experience, Ron has perfected the art of crafting delicious, healthy Jamaican meals that captivate the taste buds and warm the soul. His dedication to quality and authenticity has made Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine a beloved “go-to place” for both locals and visitors seeking genuine Jamaican flavors in Philadelphia; and
WHEREAS, Over the past 30 years, Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine has grown to include two locations, 5726 N. Broad Street and 6620 Rising Sun Avenue, each serving as a testament to the transformative power of food in bringing people together and creating lasting memories. Ron’s restaurants are not just culinary destinations, but vibrant community hubs where everyone is welcomed and treated to an unforgettable dining experience; and
WHEREAS, Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine is committed to serving the community by providing delicious and healthy meal choices at an affordable price, embodying its mission to enrich the lives of its patrons through exceptional cuisine; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That it hereby honors Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine for its significant contribution to the culinary landscape and its unwavering dedication to quality, community, and authenticity. We celebrate Ron’s achievements and the enduring impact of his restaurants on the Philadelphia community.
FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this Resolution be presented to Ron’s Caribbean Cuisine as an expression of the admiration and respect of this legislative body.
