Body

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

SECTION 1. The following parking regulation is hereby established.

 

Two Hour Parking

All day, Monday to Sunday

From June 11 through July 19, 2026

Except RPP# 17

Tow Away Zone

The area bounded by the intersection of North 21st street and North College avenue, north up North 21st street, Master street, North 25th street, Cecil B. Moore avenue, North 33rd street, West Oxford street, West Glenwood avenue, North 32nd street and continuing along the railroad boundary south from North 32nd street at West Thompson street to the intersection of Aspen Street, Pennsylvania avenue, Fairmount avenue, Corinthian avenue, Brown street, North 21st street, Poplar street, Corinthian avenue, South College avenue, Poplar street, West College avenue, North College avenue to the intersection of North College avenue and North 21st street, but not including the 2400-2600 blocks of Pennsylvania avenue or streets with existing permit parking. The parking restriction shall apply to both sides of the street for all streets defining the bounded area described in this paragraph.

 

SECTION 2. The following parking regulation is hereby established.

 

Two Hour Parking

All day, Monday to Sunday

From June 11 through July 19, 2026

Except RPP# 6

Tow Away Zone

The area bounded by the intersection of Pennsylvania avenue and Fairmount avenue, Fairmount avenue, North 21st street, Hamilton avenue, Pennsylvania avenue, and the intersection of Pennsylvania avenue and Fairmount avenue, but not including the 2200-2600 blocks of Pennsylvania avenue or Streets with existing permit parking. The parking restriction shall apply to both sides of the street for all streets defining the bounded area described in this paragraph.

 

 

SECTION 3.  The Philadelphia Parking Authority is authorized to issue temporary residential parking permits to the residents of Residential Parking Permit Districts #6 and #17 who do not already hold valid residential parking permits for those districts, as well as a maximum of two (2) guest parking permits per dwelling within the specified districts, which shall be valid for the limited period from June 11 through July 19, 2026. Such permits shall be provided to eligible applicants at no cost.

 

SECTION 4.  Violations of Sections 1 and 2 of this Ordinance shall be subject to civil penalties under Section 12-2809 of The Philadelphia Code and subject to towing under Section 12-2405 of the Code.

 

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately.
