Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the New Kensington - Fishtown Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 88 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 2638-2642 East Norris street; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Kenneth T. Gassman Jr. and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the New Kensington - Fishtown Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "New Kensington - Fishtown"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 13, 1997, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the New Kensington - Fishtown, designated as Parcel No. 88 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 2638-2642 East Norris street (hereinafter "Parcel"). The area of said Parcel is bounded as follows:

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground located in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at a point of intersection of the southerly side of East Thompson street and the southwesterly side of East Norris street; Thence extending southeastward along the southwesterly side of said Norris street the distance of fifty six feet two inches to a point; Thence extending southwestward at right angles to Norris street seventy six feet seven and three-eighths inches to a point; Thence extending northward along a line at right angles to Thompson street the distance of eighty four feet one inc...
