WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "Model Cities"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on December 15, 1969, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area identified by house number and street address as 2320 North Smedley street (the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:

2320 North Smedley street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected situate on the westerly side of Smedley street, formerly called Atlantic street, at the distance of one hundred ninety two feet northwardly from the northerly side of Dauphin street in the Twenty-eighth Ward of the City of Philadelphia; Containing in front or breadth on said Smedley street fourteen feet four inches and extending of that width westwardly between parallel lines at right angles to said Smedley street eighty feet to a certain three feet wide alley leading southwardly into a two feet six inches wide alley which leads eastwardly into the said Smedley street.
