Title: Approving the first amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the West Fairhill/East Tioga/Hunting Park Urban Renewal Area, being the area generally bounded by Wingohocking street and Roosevelt boulevard on the north, North Fifth street and North Sixth street on the east, Lehigh avenue on the south and Broad street and Venango street on the west, including the first amendment to the urban renewal plan and the first amendment to the relocation plan, which provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately forty-four (44) properties for residential and related uses; the additional land acquisition of approximately six (6) properties for commercial and related uses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law; and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.

WHEREAS, The redevelopment proposal, the urban renewal plan and the relocation plan of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter referred to as the "Redevelopment Authority") for the redevelopment of the West Fairhill/East Tioga/Hunting Park Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter referred to as "West Fairhill/East Tioga/Hunting Park") was approved by Ordinance of the Council on April 20, 2005; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a first amendment of the redevelopment proposal, including the detailed redevelopment area plan, the first amended urban renewal plan, the relocation plan, the maps, disposition supplements, and all other documents and supporting data which form part of the said proposal, for West Fairhill/East Tioga/Hunting Park, dated February, 2006 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "First Amended Redevelopment Proposal"); and
WHEREAS, The First Amended Redevelopment Proposal provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately forty-four (44) properties for residential and related reuses; the additional land acquisition of approximate...
