WHEREAS, State Representative Isabella Fitzgerald, affectionately known as Izzy, has been a dedicated resident of West Oak Lane for over 40 years and a proud member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Representative Fitzgerald embodies her motto, "Let's Keep Moving Forward," through her exceptional commitment to advocacy and community service, earning numerous titles and honors throughout her distinguished career, including: Mother, grandmother, concerned neighbor; Ward Secretary, Ward Treasurer, and Ward Leader; Founding member and Chairperson of the Northwest CommUnity Coalition for Youth; Board and Planning Committee member of Women of Faith and Hope, a breast cancer self-help support organization; Public Safety Area Coordinator for the 14th Police District; Special Assistant to U.S. Representative Robert A. Brady; and Legislative Assistant for former State Representative and current Congressman Dwight Evans; and

WHEREAS, In November 2016, Representative Fitzgerald attained a new role as State Representative for the 203rd Legislative District in Northwest Philadelphia, a position she fulfills with remarkable dedication and passion; and

WHEREAS, Representative Fitzgerald's resilience and determination are evident in her overcoming personal and professional challenges, pursuing higher education while raising a family, and addressing critical issues such as neighborhood safety; and

WHEREAS, Her advocacy for Youth Safety, Women's Health Issues, Economic Development, and Education, as well as her active participation in committees including Human Services, State Government, Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness, the PA Legislative Black Caucus, Penn SERVE, and the Philadelphia Delegation, exemplifies her unwavering commitment to the community; and
