WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "Model Cities"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on December 15, 1969, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the Model Cities Urban Renewal Area , designated as Parcel No. 2-15A also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 724 Jefferson street (hereinafter the "Parcel"). The area of the Parcel is bounded as follows:

Parcel No.2-15A (724 Jefferson street).

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground located in the Twentieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia with the buildings and improvements thereon erected beginning at the intersection of the south side of Jefferson street and the west side of Perth street (twenty five feet wide); Thence extending in an southerly direction along the westerly side of Perth street fifty one feet, more or less, to a point; Thence extending in a westerly direction fourteen feet five and one-eight inches, more or less, to a point; Thence extending in a northerly direction fifty one feet, more or less, to a point on the southerly side of Jefferson street; Thence extending in an easterly direct...
