Authorizing encroachments in the nature of planters in the vicinity of 3001 Chestnut Street, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted to the owner (the “Owner”) of the property identified below, currently, DREXEL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, to install, own, and maintain an encroachment at the Property, as follows:
Encroachment Description:
Property: 3001 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA.
A total of twenty-eight (28) street tree planters will be located along the property line of 3001 Chestnut Street written in three parts:
Part 1:
A total of four (4) street tree planters will be located along the property line of 3001 Chestnut Street and will encroach a distance of approximately five feet (5’-0”) towards the north along the south footway of Ludlow Street starting from a point approximately thirty-eight feet three inches (38’-3”) west of the South 30th Street west curbline to a point approximately seventy-two feet (72’-0”) farther west leaving a minimum eight feet (8’-0”) of clear unobstructed footway.
Part 2:
A total of ten (10) street tree planters will be located along the property line of 3001 Chestnut Street and will encroach a distance of approximately five feet (5’-0”) towards the south along the south footway of Ludlow Street starting from a point approximately two hundred forty-eight feet seven inches (248’-7”) west of the South 30th Street west curbline to a point approximately two hundred twenty-two feet five inches (222’-5”) farther west leaving a minimum eight feet (8’-0”) of clear unobstructed footway.
Part 3:
A total of fourteen (14) street tree planters will be located along the property line of 3001 Chestnut Street and will encroach a distance of approximately five feet (5’-0”) towards the north along the north footway of Chestnut Street starting from a point approximately fifty-eight feet seven inches (58’-7”) west of the South 30th...
