Body
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.      Pursuant to Section 11-404 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is authorized to revise the lines and grades on portions of City Plan No. 313 by:
 
(a)      Widening Suffolk Avenue where it meets Island Avenue by relocating the northerly curb line and house line of Suffolk Avenue approximately one hundred forty-three (143) feet northward along Island Avenue and then extending this proposed curb line and house line of Suffolk Avenue eastward to connect with curvilinear intersection to an existing point along the curb line and house line of Suffolk Avenue approximately two hundred seventy (270) feet eastward from where the proposed northerly curb line and house line of Suffolk Avenue would intersect with the easterly curb line and house line of Island Avenue, which said point is also approximately three hundred two (302) feet eastward from the where the former northerly curb line and house line of Suffolk Avenue intersected with the easterly curb line and house line of Island Avenue.
 
(b)      Declaring that portion of Suffolk Avenue between the present confirmed northerly house line and the northerly house line as proposed by this Ordinance, entirely owned by the City of Philadelphia, to be legally open.
 
SECTION 2.      The Department of Streets is directed to record the opening of the portion of Suffolk Avenue mentioned in Section 1(b) of this Ordinance on its record.
