Title

Authorizing the City Solicitor, on behalf of the City, to enter into a multi-year contract with a provider of codification and editing services to produce printed and electronic versions of the 8^th edition of The Philadelphia Code and periodic supplements, all under certain terms and conditions.

Body

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION 1.  The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with a provider of codification and editing services to produce printed and electronic versions of the 8^th edition of The Philadelphia Code and periodic supplements.  Such contract may be for a term in excess of one year, but not for a term in excess of four years.  The City's total annual payment under the contract shall not exceed $40,000.  The City Solicitor shall include in such contract such other terms and conditions as he deems necessary or appropriate in the interests of the City.
