Approving the redevelopment contract of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of Melville Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 1 also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 1258-1260 South Forty-fifth street; and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Melville Urban Renewal Area, which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 19, 1972, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the Melville Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 1 also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 1258-1260 South Forty-fifth street (hereinafter "Parcel No. 1"). The area of the said parcel is bounded as follows:
Parcel No. 1. (1258-1260 South Forty-fifth street).
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground located in the Twenty-seventh Ward of the City of Philadelphia with the buildings and improvements beginning at a point on the southwesterly side of South Forty-fifth street ( seventy feet wide ) at the distance of five hundred fifty feet three-quarters inches southeastward from the southeasterly side of Kingsessing avenue ( eighty feet wide ); Thence extending southeastward along the southwesterly side of said Forty-fifth street a distance of thirty five feet to a point of intersection with the northwesterly side of Woodland avenue (eighty feet wide); Thence extending southwestward along the northwesterly side of Woodland avenue a distance of ninety seven feet seven...
