WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the New Kensington - Fishtown Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "New Kensington - Fishtown"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 13, 1997, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the New Kensington - Fishtown, designated as Parcel No. 50 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 1410-1414 Emerick street (hereinafter "Parcel"). The area of said Parcel is bounded as follows:

Parcel No. 50 (1410-1414 Emerick street including 448 Miller street).

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground located in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at a point of intersection of the southeasterly side of Miller street and the southwesterly side of Emerick street; Thence extending southeastward along the southwesterly side of Emerick street a distance of forty two feet one inch to a point; Thence extending southwestward along a line at an angle of eighty eight degrees, twenty minutes with Emerick street a distance of sixty five feet to a point; Thence extending northwestward at right angles to Miller street fifteen f...
