Honoring and congratulating the Drexel University Women and Men's basketball teams for winning their respective Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title games and qualifying for the Women and Men's 2021 NCAA basketball tournament.

WHEREAS, The Drexel Dragons Women and Men's basketball teams are led by head coaches', Amy Mallon and Men's coach, Zach Spiker; and
WHEREAS, Women's basketball players Kayla Bacon, Brianne Borcky, Kate Connolly, Elizabeth Dufrane, Maura Hendrixson, Chloe Hodges, Tori Hyduke, Mariah Leonard, Hannah Nihill, Hetta Saatman, Erin Sweeney, Jasmine Valentine, and Keishana Washington showed skill, strength, and perseverance to defeat opponents to become the CAA division champions and qualify for the 2021 Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament; and
WHEREAS, Junior Keishana Washington scored 30 points for the Dragons at the Championship game against Delaware. The women's team used the third quarter to beat the University of Delaware 63-52. With this win the Dragons clinched the CAA Championship title and qualified for the 2021 Women's NCAA basketball tournament; and
WHEREAS; Drexel's women's basketball championship is the second in program history and the first CAA Championship since 2009; and
WHEREAS, Men's basketball players Julian Adams, Xavier Bell, T.J. Bickerstaff, James Butler, Luke House, Matey Juric, Tadas Kararinas, Anto Keshgegian, Chuka Mekkam, Lamar Oden Jr., Mate Okros, Tim Perry Jr., Zach Walton, Coletrane Washington, Amari Williams, and Camren Wynter showed determination, strength, and expertise to defeat opponents to become the CAA division champions and qualify for the 2021 Men's NCAA basketball tournament; and
WHEREAS, Sophomore Mate Okros scored 14 Points for the Dragons and Drexel beat Elon 63-56. Junior Camren Wynter was named the CAA tournament MVP and Zach Walton and James Butler were also named to the All-CAA tournament team; and
