Honoring the public servants at the local, state, and federal level who made the unforgettable Eagles Super Bowl Parade possible and recognizing all public servants for their dedication to the communities they serve.

WHEREAS, On February 14, 2025, the City of Philadelphia held a parade to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory. Hundreds of thousands of Philadelphians and fans from across the country lined Broad Street and the Parkway to cheer on the team; and

WHEREAS, Over 3,000 workers across City departments, as well as state and federal partners, worked long hours to make the parade a celebration to remember; and

WHEREAS, Crews from the Departments of Streets and Sanitation worked into the early hours of Saturday morning to clear trash and debris from the parade route, ensuring traffic could start flowing smoothly; and

WHEREAS, SEPTA conductors, bus drivers, and staff helped fans make it safely into the heart of the city and get home once the celebration concluded; and

WHEREAS, Along the parade route, Fire Department medics helped fans in need of medical assistance, including the two individuals who suffered gunshot wounds near the Parkway. The Philadelphia Police Department worked quickly to ensure people in the area and other parade-goers were safe; and

WHEREAS, The parade was a testament to the work of all Philadelphia's public servants across every City Department. It takes the whole City coming together to make an event of that scale a success; and

WHEREAS, The City of Philadelphia works in constant partnership with state and federal officials to provide vital services to residents, ranging from infrastructure upgrades and public safety to support for public art and outdoor recreation; and
