WHEREAS, Teams representing Brazil, France, Croatia, Ecuador, Haiti, Ghana, Cura?ao, and the Ivory Coast will take the field in Philadelphia, bringing with them players, fans, and their own histories, cultures, and communities; and
WHEREAS, Philadelphia enthusiastically welcomes and celebrates these teams and their supporters, embracing the exchange of cultures, traditions, and perspectives that events like the World Cup make possible, and reaffirming the City's long-standing commitment to being a welcoming home for people from around the world; and
