Title

Amending Section 12-2700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Stopping, Standing, or Parking at Certain Times,” to provide for regulation of such activity within an area described herein.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

SECTION 1. Chapter 12-2700 of the Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:

 

CHAPTER 12-2700. PERMIT PARKING DISTRICTS

§ 12-2703. Designation of Permit Parking Districts.

(2) Permit parking districts enumerated.

(qq)   District 42: the area bounded by 21st street, Cecil B. Moore avenue, 32nd street and continuing along a line continuing south from 32nd street at Oxford street to the intersection of 32nd street and Jefferson street then along 32nd street, Thompson street, 31st street, West Girard avenue, West College avenue, and North College Avenue; the area bounded by North 21st street, Fairmount avenue, Corinthian avenue, West Girard avenue, Corinthian avenue; Fairmount avenue, North 21st street, a line starting at the intersection of West Girard avenue and 31st street and continuing southeast to a point approximately ten feet west of the intersection of North 30th street and Pennsylvania avenue, Pennsylvania avenue, Spring Garden street between Pennsylvania avenue and the Eakins Oval, and the Benjamin Franklin parkway.

 

 

SECTION 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
