THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 14-500 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Overlay Zoning Districts," is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 14-500. OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICTS

? 14-544. /MMS, Mobile Medical Service Providers Overlay District

(1) Boundaries. The Mobile Medical Service Providers Overlay District shall apply to any lot or public right of way located within:

(a) All divisions of the 41st Ward; all divisions in the 45th Ward, divisions 7, 10, 14-16, and 19-22 of the 54th Ward; all divisions in the 55th Ward; divisions 34 and 40 of the 56th Ward; all divisions in the 57th Ward; all divisions in the 64th Ward; and all divisions in the 65th Ward, as shown for illustrative purposes only on the following Map A.

(2) Mobile Medical Service Providers. Services provided from a vehicle which entail the diagnosis or treatment of disease or any ailment of the human body. For purposes of this section, mobile medical services do not include: emergency medical services provided by emergency medical responders as defined in 35 Pa. C.S. ? 8103; services from community mobile crisis teams, emergency overdose response; infectious disease response; public health vaccination; pediatric services; veterinary services; dental services; vision services; or mammogram services.

(3) Community mobile crisis response team. Teams operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disability Services (DBHIDS) for the purpose of providing community-based emergency behavioral health services.

(4) Emergency Overdose Response: Mobile medical services dispatched upon a declaration of the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health for the purpose of responding to a geographically specific ...
