Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the New Kensington - Fishtown Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 47 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 1139 East Berks street; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Joseph A. Maurizi and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the New Kensington - Fishtown Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "New Kensington - Fishtown"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 13, 1997, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the New Kensington - Fishtown, designated as Parcel No. 47 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 1139 East Berks street (hereinafter "Parcel"). The area of said Parcel is bounded as follows:
Disposition Parcel No. 47 (1139 East Berks street).
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground located in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Philadelphia situated on the northeasterly side of East Berks street (fifty feet wide) at the distance of twenty nine feet six and one-quarter inches southeastward from the southeasterly side of East Girard avenue; Containing in front or breadth on Berks street thirteen feet one and one-quarter inches and extending of that width in length or depth northeastward between lines parallel with Girard avenue sixty feet.
