Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the East Germantown Redevelopment Area, identified by respective house numbers and street addresses as 1320, 1328 & 1356 East Haines street; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

WHEREAS, In accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law, being the Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended and supplemented, the City Planning Commission of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Commission") has on June 17, 2003, certified the East Germantown Redevelopment Area as a redevelopment area; and
WHEREAS, The Commission has completed a detailed redevelopment area plan for the East Germantown Redevelopment Area dated June 17, 2003; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the East Germantown Redevelopment Area, identified by respective house numbers and street addresses as 1320, 1328 & 1356 East Haines street; (the "Properties"). The areas of the Properties are bounded as follows:
1320 East Haines street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Fifty-ninth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at a point on the easterly side of Haines street (fifty feet wide) at the distance of one hundred fifty two feet and one-quarter inches north from the northerly side of Crittenden street (fifty feet wide); Containing in front or breadth on the said side of Haines street fifteen feet and extending of that width in length or depth eastward between parallel lines at right angles to the said Haines street seventy four feet to a point on the westerly side of a certain four feet wide alley.
