WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono competed against 16 of the Philadelphia area's attractive, intelligent and most talented young women, and excelled in the competition; and

WHEREAS, Ms Jacono's music talent, interviewing skills, and physical beauty, exemplifies what it means to hold the title Miss Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors of Arts; receiving a double major in English and Theater Arts and a minor in Sociology, only to exemplify her intellectual acumen by attending Villanova Law School and is currently in her second year; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono has been honored by the Public Interest Fellowship Organization for dedication to public service, is on the Executive Board of the Pro Bono Society, and is actively involved in the Street Law Program at Chester High School and a volunteer for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono was named Penn State Woman of the Year in 2004 and received the National Dorthy Shaw Award for Service and Leadership upon graduation; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono was awarded a position on the Dean's List and a member of the honors organization Order of Omega and Phi Eta Sigma; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jacono is a published children's author, whose book entitled, "Lenny's Gift" a story of a young turtle named Lenny who learns that he is special because he is able to perform community service, was not only a source of educational material for children but was also a source of assistance since Ms. Jacono donated all of the proceeds of this book to children's organizations; now therefore
