Honoring the life and legacy of Philadelphia Police Captain Frank Milillo.

WHEREAS, On Thursday, December 3, 2020 the City of Philadelphia lost a dedicated and selfless public servant with the passing of Frank Milillo; and
WHEREAS, We honor the selfless dedication of Captain Milillo for his 31 years of service to the City of Philadelphia. We also thank his wife Kimberly and children, Frank Jr., Dante and Dominique and his mother, Louise, for their willingness to share Captain Milillo with us and recognizing the sacrifices that Captain Milillo had to make over those 31 years protecting the residents of Philadelphia; and
WHEREAS, Frank Milillo entered the Philadelphia Police Department Academy on January 8, 1990 with the other members of Class 286; and
WHEREAS, Upon completion and graduation from the Philadelphia Police Academy on May 31, 1990 Officer Milillo was assigned to the Tactical Division. In September of that same year, Officer Milillo was transferred to the 12th Police District at 65th and Woodland where he served for several years until his promotion to Sergeant in 1994; and
WHEREAS, On December 6, 1994, Officer Milillo was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to the 25th Police District at Front and Westmoreland Streets where he served for almost a year before heading back to the 12th District at 65th and Woodland; and
WHEREAS, Officer Milillo served at various other districts and units, including Citywide Vice until his promotion to Lieutenant in 2007 when he was assigned to the 3rd District at 11th and Wharton Streets he also spent several years at the 6th District at 11th and Winter Streets; and
WHEREAS, On February 3, 2014, Lieutenant Milillo was promoted to Captain and assigned to command the 3rd District at 11th and Wharton Streets for several years until his transfer to command the Southwest Detective Division on December 3, 2018; and
