A resolution thanking A. Bruce Crawley, founder of Millenium 3 Management, the African American Chamber of Commerce, and a founding member of Visit Philadelphia, for his decades of leadership and invaluable contributions to the business, hospitality, and political communities in Philadelphia.
Body
WHEREAS, A. Bruce Crawley holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in Management from St. Joseph's University and a Master's degree in Journalism from Temple University, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in business, communications, and public service; and
WHEREAS, In 1989, Mr. Crawley founded Crawley Haskins Sloan PR & Advertising and served as president, further contributing to the growth of the communications and public relations industries; and
WHEREAS, In 1993, he founded the Philadelphia African American Chamber of Commerce and served as Chairman for 13 years, significantly advancing the economic interests of African American businesses in the region; and
WHEREAS, In 2006, he founded Millenium 3 Management Inc., a full-service marketing and communications firm, where he currently serves as president and principal owner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Crawley has been deeply involved in Philadelphia's hospitality industry, serving as a member of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and Chair of their Board for five years. He cofounded the Convention Bureau's Multicultural Affairs Congress and is a founding member of Visit Philadelphia, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing the City's tourism and hospitality sectors; and
WHEREAS, Crawley also served as campaign manager and communications consultant for numerous state and local elected officials, and played a key role as communications consultant for to former Mayor John F. Street, from his time as Philadelphia City Council President through his first term as Mayor; and
