WHEREAS, Philly Tech Week is a dynamic week-long celebration that highlights emerging technology trends and the exceptional talent that is driving the local innovation ecosystem. The aim of Philly Tech Week is to bring together technologists, entrepreneurs, and innovators to lead forward thinking conversations and generate bold ideas that will promote meaningful progress. This year, Philly Tech Week is marking its 15th anniversary as the region's longest-standing celebration of tech and innovation; and

WHEREAS, Philly Tech Week was created and is led by Technical.ly, an organization that has been leading the charge to promote Philadelphia's tech scene and foster a culture of innovation; and

WHEREAS, Founded by Christopher Wink in 2009, Technical.ly is a news organization that connects and challenges a community of technologists, entrepreneurs, and other professionals invested in their hometowns. The core mission of this organization is to prioritize community, advance sustainability, invest in impact, accelerate our innovation, and lead with team culture; and

WHEREAS, Philly Tech Week 2025 is presented by Comcast and hosted by 1Philadelphia, a coalition of stakeholders working together to make Philly the capital of equitable tech and innovation. This coalition focuses on radically transforming the landscape of opportunity in Philadelphia by focusing on three key areas: talent development, community cultivation, and access and upskilling; and

WHEREAS, Philadelphia is home to a variety of tech organizations working to support innovation and entrepreneurship, fostering a thriving local tech ecosystem by connecting stakeholders to strengthen Philadelphia's tech workforce, and promoting workforce development, including Beyond Literacy, Level Up Philly, Philly Tech Sistas, Latinas in Tech, Technology Learn...
