Body
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted to Drexel University ("Owner") to construct, own and maintain certain right-of-way encroachments ("Encroachment") at 3175 JFK Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104 as follows:

Encroachment Description:

Steps:
A set of steps, beginning at a point approximately sixty four feet (64'-0") north of the southerly property boundary of 3175 JFK Blvd. From said point, extending sixteen feet north along and seven feet eleven inches (7'-11") into the easterly footway of North 32nd Street, with five feet six inches (5'-6") walkable space remaining.

Planters:
Three planters, measuring approximately 30 inches cubed, to be placed approximately eighteen inches (18") from the face of the easterly curb of North 32nd Street. Said planters, measured from the southernmost side, shall be fifty one feet (51'-0"), one hundred and fifty feet (150'-0") and one hundred seventy six feet six inches (176'-6") north of the southerly property boundary of 3175 JFK Blvd.

Street Lights, Ramps, Awnings, and Signs:
The applicant also proposes street lights, ramps, awnings and signs, as conforming with the Philadelphia Code, and subject to Streets Department approval upon completion of the legislative approval for the steps and awnings described herein.

SECTION 2. The construction, use and maintenance of the Encroachment described and listed in Section 1 shall be in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations of the City of Philadelphia, and specifically those of the Department of Licenses and Inspections, the Department of Streets, and the Art Commission, provided that the Department of Streets, in its sole, unreviewable discretion, may allow minor variations of the dimension limits of Section 1, w...
