Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the South Central Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 310 and also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 1001-1035 South Seventeenth street; authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Carpenter Square LP and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the South Central Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "South Central"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on December 14, 1971, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Authority has prepared a disposition supplement providing, inter alia, for development controls and regulations imposed upon the redeveloper; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of South Central, designated as Parcel No. 310 and also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 1001-1035 South Seventeenth street (the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:
Parcel No. 310 (1001-1035 South Seventeenth street).
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Thirtieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning on the southeast corner of the intersection at South Seventeenth street (fifty feet wide) and Carpenter street (fifty feet wide); Containing in front or breadth, southward along the east side of the said Seventeenth street two hundred ninety feet and extending of that width in length or depth between parallel lines at right angles to said Seventeenth street, eastward sixty-one feet to the wes...
