Title
Approving the sale by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for a portion of the Germantown Redevelopment Area consisting of three (3) properties designated by street numbers and addresses as 5200 & 5202 Pulaski avenue and 57 West Logan street; approving the Committee for Dignity and Fairness for the Homeless Housing Development, Inc. as the Grantee for use as long term rental housing opportunities for homeless families and individuals; determining that the said sale is in substantial conformity with the redevelopment area plan for the Germantown Redevelopment Area and with all applicable laws and regulations; approving a sale price for each of the said three (3) properties; determining that said sale meets all non-discrimination requirements of Federal, State and Local Laws and the regulations and policies promulgated with respect thereto; and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to effectuate the said sale by taking such action as may be necessary to carry it out.

WHEREAS, In accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law, being the Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended and supplemented (hereinafter the "Act"), the City Planning Commission of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Commission") has on September 10, 1963, certified the Germantown Redevelopment Area as a redevelopment area (hereinafter "Germantown"); and
WHEREAS, The Commission has completed a detailed redevelopment area plan for Germantown dated July, 1967, as may have been amended from time to time, for the redevelopment of Germantown, making recommendations for land uses, standards of population densities, land coverage, zoning changes, street layout and street changes, and other details as therein set forth (hereinafter "Plan"); and
