Approving the first amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the Kingsessing Urban Renewal Area, being the area generally bounded by Chester avenue on the north, South Fifty-second street on the east, the AMTRAK right-of-way line on the south and South Sixty-first street and Sixty-second street on the west, including the first amendment to the urban renewal plan and the relocation plan, which provide, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately eighteen (18) properties for residential and related uses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.

WHEREAS, The redevelopment proposal, the urban renewal plan and the relocation plan of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter referred to as the "Redevelopment Authority") for the redevelopment of the Kingsessing Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter referred to as "Kingsessing") was approved by Ordinance of the Council on February 26, 2003; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a first amendment of the redevelopment proposal, including the detailed redevelopment area plan, the first amended urban renewal plan, the relocation plan, the maps, disposition supplements, and all other documents and supporting data which form part of the said proposal, for Kingsessing, dated April, 2003 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "First Amended Redevelopment Proposal"); and
WHEREAS, The First Amended Redevelopment Proposal provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately eighteen ( 18 ) properties for residential and related reuses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project; and
