Approving the Seventh amendment of the redevelopment proposal for the Southwest Temple Urban Renewal Area, being the area situate in the Twentieth Ward beginning at the intersection of the northerly side of Columbia avenue and the easterly side of Broad street, including the seventh amendment to the urban renewal plan and the relocation plan, which provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately two (2) properties for commercial and related uses; a change of the land use and related controls for the area generally bounded by West Girard avenue, North Ninth street, Hutchinson street and Thompson street from industrial and related uses to commercial and related uses; the provision of certain relocation services, as required by law and declaring that condemnation is not imminent with respect to the Project.

WHEREAS, The redevelopment proposal, the urban renewal plan and the relocation plan of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter referred to as the "Redevelopment Authority") for the redevelopment of the Southwest Temple Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter referred to as "Southwest Temple") was approved by Ordinance of the Council on February 27, 1961, as last amended by Bill No. 1858 approved May 28, 1975; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a seventh amendment of the redevelopment proposal, including the detailed redevelopment area plan, the seventh amended urban renewal plan, the relocation plan, the maps, and all other documents and supporting data which form part of the said proposal, for Southwest Temple, dated August, 2002 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Seventh Amended Redevelopment Proposal"); and
WHEREAS, The Seventh Amended Redevelopment Proposal provides, inter alia, for the additional land acquisition of approximately two (2) properties for commercial and related uses; a change of the land use and related controls for the area generally bounded ...
