Approving the redevelopment contract of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the Belmont Nos. 1, 2, 3 Urban Renewal Area, identified by house number and street address as 4016-18 Powelton Avenue, 4020 Powelton Avenue, 4022 Powelton Avenue, 4024 Powelton Avenue, and 46-48 Wiota Street; and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Neighborhood Gardens Trust and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Belmont Nos. 1, 2, 3 Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "Belmont Nos. 1, 2, 3"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on May 21, 1970, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of Belmont Nos. 1, 2, 3, identified by house number and street address as 4016-18 Powelton Avenue, 4020 Powelton Avenue, 4022 Powelton Avenue, 4024 Powelton Avenue, and 46-48 Wiota Street (collectively, the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:
4016-18 Powelton Avenue, 4020 Powelton Avenue, 4022 Powelton Avenue, 4024 Powelton Avenue, and 46-48 Wiota Street. All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 6th Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at the intersection of the southerly side of Powelton Avenue (80 feet wide) and the westerly side of Wiota Street (40 feet wide); Thence extending southward along the said westerly side of Wiota Street the distance of 163 feet 2 3/8 inches; Thence extending westward along a line at right angles to the said Wiota Street, crossing the bed of a certain 5 feet wide alley the distance of 79 feet 10 1/2 inches to a point on the westerly side of the said 5 feet wide alley; T...
