Recognizing, congratulating, and honoring Zaire "Bam" Anderson on an outstanding season as a member of the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos.

Whereas, Zaire "Bam" Anderson was born on August 18, 1992 in Philadelphia and attended Frankford High School where he was named a first team All-Philadelphia public selection his senior season; and
Whereas, Zaire Anderson was an Frankford Chargers Alumni before he went on to be an inside linebacker for the University of Nebraska and later joining the Denver Broncos in the National Football League as a college free agent on May 5, 2015. In his time at the University of Nebraska, Zaire earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten Conference honors and graduated with a degree in Child, Youth and Family Sciences in 2014; and
Whereas, The Frankford Chargers is a proud football organization that has been serving the Frankford section of the City for over 48 seasons, with the mission statement of acting as positive, supportive and concerned role models in order to inspire and provide youth with the necessary tools for living a productive and successful life; and
Whereas, On Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California in front of over 68,000 fans and millions more watching at home, Zaire and the (14-4) Denver Broncos took on the (16-1) Carolina Panthers; and
Whereas, After a tremendous defensive game and following the leadership of Quarterback Peyton Manning and Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Von Miller, the Denver Broncos sealed their third Super Bowl in franchise history with a victory over the Carolina Panthers 24-10; and
Whereas, As a member of the Frankford Chargers, Frankford High School Pioneers, Nebraska Cornhuskers and now a member of the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos, Zaire is viewed as a role model by many youth throughout Frankford and the City of Philadelphia for his tremendous accomplishments throughout his athletic career by encouraging young athletes t...
