Amending Section 9-213 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Farmers’ Markets” by changing the boundaries of a permissible location on North 22nd Street, all under certain terms and conditions

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§ 9-213. Farmers’ Markets.

(7) Permissible Locations. Farmers' Markets at the following locations shall be permitted:

(r) The sidewalk and the curb lane of the west side of the 500 block of South 43rd Street on Thursdays. The 500 block of South 43rd Street, between Baltimore Avenue and Chester Avenue, excluding the sidewalks, shall be permitted for use on Saturdays only, year round, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 562
(s) The sidewalks of the east and west side sides of the 700 block of North 22nd Street.
(t) The southeastern quadrant of Julian F. Abele Park (the area of land bounded by 22nd Street on the west, Carpenter Street on the south, Montrose Street on the north and private residences on the east).

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
