THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Bill No. 010529, approved February 14, 2002, is amended as follows:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not affect the existing Councilpersons or the powers, duties, functions of that office, nor shall it affect the present Council or its officers. The new district boundaries shall apply only to nominations and elections of Councilpersons whose terms of office commence on the first Monday of January 2004, and thereafter.
