THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.      Title 19 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
 
TITLE 19.  FINANCE, TAXES AND COLLECTIONS.

ยง19-203.      Payroll Deductions.
 
      (1)      The Director of Finance shall, as authorized or directed from time to time by the Code, deduct and withhold from the salary or wages of any employee of the City, such sum as the employee may authorize, or as may be directed by the Code and shall pay over such deductions to the designated payee.
