THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Section 11-404 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan Nos. 63 and 67 by:
  1. Relocating the northeasterly curbline of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from TwentyStreet to a point approximately sevenfeet northwest of TwentyStreet, two feet southwestwardly, thereby widening the northeasterly footway of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from fifteen feet to seventeen feet.
  2. Relocating the southwesterly curbline of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from TwentyStreet to a point approximately ninehundred feet northwest of TwentyStreet, two feet northeastwardly, thereby widening the southwesterly footway of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from fifteen feet to seventeen feet.
  3. Relocating portions of the curblines of TwentyFirst Street and TwentyStreet at and near their intersections with the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to establish certain curb bumpand modify certain traffic islands for the purposes of improving the safety of pedestrians and improving traffic flow.
  4. Striking from the City Plan Callowhill Street from TwentyStreet to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and vacating the said Callowhill Street as a public highway but retaining the bed thereof as a part of Fairmount Park.
  5. Placing on the City Plan a right of way for drainage purposes, water main purposes, gas main purposes, and public utility purposes within the lines of Callowhill Street being stricken from the City Plan by authority of this Ordinance.
