Amending Chapter 9-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Service and Other Businesses,” to increase the application fee and annual renewal fee for a Valet Parking Operator's License; all under certain terms and conditions.

Body

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 9-600 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 9-600.  SERVICE AND OTHER BUSINESSES

§ 9-601. Garages, Parking Lots, Sales Lots and Sales Showrooms.

(6)      Valet Parking Operator's License.

*      *      *

            (b)      The application shall be accompanied by the following:

*      *      *

                  (.2)      payment of a non-refundable application fee of $[75]150.

*      *      *

            (d)      The license shall be for a term of one year, as determined by the Department, and may be renewed annually upon payment of an annual renewal fee of $[75]150.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon becoming law.
