Title
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority a deed conveying fee simple title to certain parcels of land, with the improvements thereon, located at 928 S. 17th Street, 1009 S. 17th Street, 1011 S. 17th Street, and 1035 S. 17th Street, for further conveyance at fair market value, under certain terms and conditions.
Body
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority a deed conveying fee simple title to certain parcels of land with the improvements thereon, described in Exhibit "A", for further conveyance at fair market value.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3. Net proceeds from the sale of these properties shall be deposited in the City's General Fund.



Exhibit A
PROPERTY #1

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon erected.

SITUATE on the North side of Carpenter Street and the West side of 17th Street 17 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Westward along the said Carpenter Street 65 feet, 8 1/2 inches to a certain 3 feet wide alley leading into and from the said Carpenter Street.

TOGETHER with the use, right and privilege of the said alley as and for watercourse and passageway at all times hereafter forever.

BEING NO. 928 SOUTH 17TH STREET.
