Approving the redevelopment contract of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the Eastwick Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 55 also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 8301 Chelwynde avenue and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Fred & Mary Buffaloe and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.
Body
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Eastwick Urban Renewal Area, (hereinafter "Eastwick"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on May 26, 1958, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of the Eastwick Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 55 also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 8301 Chelwynde avenue (hereinafter "Parcel No. 55"). The area of said Parcel No. 55 is bounded as follows:
Parcel No. 55 (8301 Chelwynde avenue).
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Fortieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning on the northwest corner of the intersection at Eighty-third (seventy feet wide) and Chelwynde avenue (sixty feet wide); Containing in front or breadth northwestward along the southwesterly side of the said Eighty-third street; one hundred feet, and extending of that width in length or depth between parallel lines at right angles to the said Eighty-third street and also along the northwesterly side of the said Chelwynde avenue; one hundred feet.
The said redevelopment contract is in substantial conformity with the urban renewal plan and the and the redevelopment proposal approved by the Council; and
