Honoring The Father Judge High School Soccer Team on Winning the PIAA AAA State Championship.

WHEREAS, The Father Judge High School Soccer Team became the first team in the City of Philadelphia to win a state title in soccer; and

WHEREAS, Judge entered the state playoffs as the District 12 champion and became the first boys' soccer team from the City to win a state playoff game; and

WHEREAS, Judge earned the right to play in the state soccer final by winning the Catholic League title; the City Championship by defeating George Washington High School and wins over Central Bucks East, Downingtown West (former State Champions) in the state quarterfinals, and a thrilling 2-1 double overtime victory against Unionville in the state semifinals; and

WHEREAS, This has been a year of accomplishments for Coach John Dunlop. In addition to guiding Judge to a final record of 22-2-2, Coach Dunlop became the all-time leader in victories as coach of Father Judge soccer, notched his 100th career win and was inducted into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame in recognition of these endeavors; and

WHEREAS, The team received crucial goals throughout the playoffs from a host of different players, including Nick Morris, who scored the game winning goal in the City Title game and a pair of goals to clinch the Catholic League Title, Judge's 2nd Catholic League title in three years; and

WHEREAS, Team members also include Chris Aliminde, Nick Battaglia, Jim Bruening, Ryan Brocker, Kevin Bushbeck, Ryan Coaste, Kevin Elemer, Dave Falcone, Darius Gblunblee, Eric Goldbloom, Rey Jimenez, Andrew Kelly, Matt Kerns, Emmanuel Kollie, Jamie Mangini, Nick Morris, Brendan McArdle, Rich Mychalk, Christian Pembroke, Kevin Pohl, Derek Ross, Chris Schwartz, Chris Sinko, Colin Sulpizio, Gavin Whalen and Brian Wright; and
