Title
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development certain City-owned land, along with any improvements thereon, located within an area bounded by Jefferson Street, Fourth Street, Harlan Street, and Lawrence Street, under certain terms and conditions.
 
Body
WHEREAS, It is the intent of the City to transfer certain land acquired by condemnation back to its previous owner; and
 
WHEREAS, The most expeditious means of accomplishing this transfer is by conveying the land to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, which will in turn convey the land to its original owner; now, therefore
 
 
THE  COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.      The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development certain City-owned land, along with any improvements thereon, located within an area bounded by Jefferson Street, Fourth Street, Harlan Street, and Lawrence Street, as described in the plan included in the original Declaration of Taking and attached as Exhibit “A” hereto.
 
SECTION 2.      The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate the transaction described in Section 1, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City.
