Authorizing The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to construct, use and maintain certain encroaching structures in the rights-of-way of Civic Center Boulevard, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, its successors and assigns, is hereby authorized to keep and maintain in place the following structures (collectively, the "Encroaching Structures") which encroach into the right-of-way of Civic Center Boulevard:

Building Encroachments over Civic Center Boulevard

The building encroachment over the right-of-way of Civic Center Boulevard consists of a pedestrian bridge structure connecting the two Children's Hospital buildings to which it will be attached (The Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Pediatric Research Center and the Colket Translational Research Building). Beginning approximately sixty-eight and ninety-six hundredths feet (68.96') east of the easterly West Service Drive right-of-way on the southerly Civic Center Boulevard right-of-way, it is approximately twenty feet (20') wide, encroaches the width of Civic Center Boulevard (80' right-of-way), and provides a minimum clearance over Civic Center Boulevard of twenty-two feet (22').

The building encroachment over the right-of-way of Civic Center Boulevard consists of a pedestrian bridge structure connecting the two Children's Hospital buildings to which it will be attached (Children's Seashore House and the Ambulatory Care Center). Beginning approximately sixty-eight and eight hundredths feet (68.08') west of the westerly East Service Drive right-of-way on the southerly Civic Center Boulevard right-of-way, it is approximately thirty-five feet (35') wide, encroaches the width of Civic Center Boulevard (80' right-of-way), and provides a minimum clearance over Civic Center Boulevard of twenty-one feet (21').
