THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 20-501 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:

§20-501. Boundaries of Districts.

Pursuant to Section 2-102 of The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter, the following Councilmanic Districts are hereby created:

District No. 1

First Ward: All Divisions.
Second Ward: Divisions 1-8; 10-18; 23-27.
Fifth Ward: Divisions 1-14; 16; 18-19; 21-22; 24-29.
Eighteenth Ward: Division 5.
Twenty-fifth Ward: Divisions 1-13; 16-18; 21-24.
Thirty-first Ward: Divisions 1; 3-8; 10-19.
[Thirty-ninth Ward: Divisions 1-3; 5-13; 15; 17-28; 30-35; 37-40; 42-43; 45-46.]
Thirty-ninth Ward: Divisions 1-13; 15-35; 37-40; 42-46.
Forty-fifth Ward: Divisions 7-11; 13-14; 16-19; 21-22; 24.

Approximate population: [152,305] 155,622.

District No. 2

Second Ward: Divisions 9; 19-22.
Eighth Ward: Divisions 1-7; 9; 12-14; 20-21; 27-28.
Twenty-sixth Ward: All Divisions.
Thirtieth Ward: All Divisions.
Thirty-sixth Ward: All Divisions.
