Approving the redevelopment contract of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the Washington Square West Unit No. 2 Urban Renewal Area, identified by house number and street address as 249-257 South Thirteenth street; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Spruce Street Senior Residences LP and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Washington Square West Unit No. 2 Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "Washington Square West Unit No. 2"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on September 25, 1967, as amended; and
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of Washington Square West Unit No. 2, identified by house number and street address as 249-257 South Thirteenth street (hereinafter the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:
249-257 South Thirteenth street.
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Fifth Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at a point on the easterly side of Thirteenth street (fifty feet wide) at a distance of one hundred ninety-seven feet southward from the southerly side of Locust street (fifty feet wide); Thence extending southward along the said easterly side of Thirteenth street one hundred three feet five and one-eighth inches to a point; Thence extending eastward at right angles to the said Thirteenth street a distance of one hundred eighty-eight feet to a point on the westerly side of Camac street (twenty feet wide); Thence extending northward along the said westerly side of Camac street fifty feet to a point; Thence extending westward on a line at right angle...
