Authorizing the Haverford Avenue Business Association to construct, own and maintain various right-of-way encroachments on the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted to Haverford Avenue Business Association, 7300 City Avenue, Suite 100, Philadelphia, PA 19151 ("Owner") to construct, own and maintain various right-of-way encroachments ("Encroachments") on the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA as follows:
Authorization to own and maintain eighteen (18) benches within the City right-of-way on the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue. The benches shall be installed adjacent to the curbline of Haverford Avenue and be offset a minimum of eighteen inches (18") off of the curbline. The benches shall encroach approximately eight feet (8') leaving approximately ten feet (10') of clear unobstructed footway.
The benches shall be installed at the following addresses:

7588 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7574 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7560 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7550 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7536 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7522 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7506 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
7547-49 Haverford Avenue - 2 Benches
SECTION 2. The construction, use and maintenance of the Encroachments described and listed in Section 1 shall be in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations of the City of Philadelphia, and specifically those of the Department of Licenses and Inspections and the Department of Streets, provided that the Department of Streets, in its sole, unreviewable discretion, may allow minor variations of the dimension limits of Section 1, within standard tolerances of current engineering practice.
